C. 1H and 15N resonance assignments of the B1 domain of protein G at 25C and pH 4.34 The sample comprises two forms in a 7:3 mixture with and without the N-terminal Met. Where the chemical shifts of the latter are different from the former, a separate entry denoted by (m)is included to indicate the minor form (i.e. without the N-terminal Met). 15N shifts are given only for the major species Stereospecific assignments are denoted as follows: for the Ca methylene protons of Gly, the asterisk indicates the Ha1 proton; for the Cb methylene protons, the asterisk indicates the Hb3 proton; for the methyl groups of Val and Leu, the asterisk indicates the Cg1H3 and Cd1H3 groups, respectively; for the NH2 protons of Asn and Gln, the asterisk indicates the Hd21 and He21 protons, respectively, which are cis to Cb and Cg, respectively.
